About

Welcome to the Official IEEE Antennas & Propagation/Electron Devices/Microwave Theory & Techniques North Italy Chapter website.

The Chapter is a professional organization for engineers working in the areas of antennas, including analysis, design, development, measurement, and testing; radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media; applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sensing, such as applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques, antenna signal processing and control, radio astronomy, and propagation and radiation aspects of terrestrial and space-based communication, including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications; electron and ion devices involving insulators, metals, organic materials, plasmas, semiconductors, quantum-effect materials, vacuum, and emerging materials; radio-frequency (HF, VHF/UHF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz), guided-wave and wireless technologies, as they relate to nanostructures, devices, integrated circuits, multi-circuit assemblies, components, packages, transmission lines, sub-systems, and systems involving the generation, amplification, processing, modulation, control, transmission, reception, detection and demodulation, and effects of electromagnetic energy transport.

Currently the Chapter includes over 450 members. Interested IEEE members are invited to become active in the AP/ED/MTT North Italy Chapter. All interested members of the public are welcome to attend our Chapter meetings and initiatives. If you have any suggestions for meeting presentation topics and other ideas to improve the Chapter, please contact the officers or write to apedmtt-northitaly@ieee.org, and leave your name and info.
